In two weeks, I embarked on a whirlwind tour of six cities across four European countries: Berlin, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Milan, and Zurich. While the experience was undoubtedly enriching, I found myself regretting the rushed nature of my travels. Each city, with its unique charm and rich history, deserved more than just a fleeting visit.
In Berlin, I barely scratched the surface of its vibrant culture and historical significance. Vienna's stunning architecture and classical music scene left me yearning for more time to explore. Venice's romantic canals and intricate alleyways felt rushed, as did Rome's ancient ruins and delicious cuisine. Milan, known for its fashion and art, was a blur, and Zurich's picturesque landscapes were barely appreciated.
This experience has taught me that in travel, quality should take precedence over quantity. Next time, I plan to immerse myself more deeply in fewer destinations, allowing for a richer and more meaningful experience.
