Three produce industry professionals with strong ties to California's Central Valley have been recognized by Produce Business magazine as part of its 2026 "40 Under Forty" class. The annual list highlights rising leaders making an impact across the fresh produce sector. Among them is Kiah Ruvalcaba, who works for Fresno-based Fowler Packing Company.
Ruvalcaba's inclusion reflects a career built on deep local roots and a commitment to the agricultural community. Fowler Packing, a major grower and shipper of table grapes and citrus, has long been a fixture in the San Joaquin Valley. The recognition places Ruvalcaba among a select group of young professionals who are shaping the future of the industry through innovation, leadership, and dedication.
The other two honorees from the Central Valley also bring decades of family farming and business experience to the table. Their selection underscores the region's ongoing importance to the national produce supply chain. Produce Business magazine's list is widely regarded as a benchmark for emerging talent, and the 2026 cohort includes individuals from growing operations, distribution networks, and retail organizations across the country. For Ruvalcaba and the other local recipients, the honor is both a personal milestone and a nod to the enduring strength of Valley agriculture.
