This summer marked the inaugural offering of BMGT 205: Professional Business Communication abroad, as students from Montana State University traveled to Ireland to immerse themselves in a unique learning experience. The course aimed to develop students' intercultural communication skills, a vital asset in today's globalized business environment.
During their time in Ireland, students engaged with local businesses and participated in workshops that emphasized the importance of effective communication across cultures. The program included interactive sessions where students learned how cultural differences can impact business interactions and strategies. By collaborating with Irish peers, they gained firsthand insights into diverse perspectives and practices.
The initiative not only enriched students' academic knowledge but also fostered personal growth as they navigated new cultural landscapes.
