Students in OSU’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management have demonstrated exceptional talent by excelling in two recent competitions organized by the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (ICHRIE). Mel Gelnar emerged victorious in the highly competitive ICHRIE Hotel Challenge, showcasing outstanding skills and knowledge in hotel management.
In addition to Gelnar's success, fellow student Carrie Bailey achieved remarkable recognition by securing second place in both the ICHRIE Hotel Challenge and the LEVEL UP competition. These accomplishments highlight the rigorous training and dedication of the students within the program, reflecting the high standards of education provided at OSU.
