Panda Express Adds Paragould to Its Growing List of Locations

Haag Brown announced Tuesday (Oct. 6) that Panda Express will open a restaurant in Paragould. It will occupy the former Starbucks location along West Kingshighway. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The announcement marks another step in the chain's steady push into smaller Arkansas markets. Panda Express, known for its American Chinese menu and quick service format, has expanded beyond major metros in recent years, and Paragould fits that pattern. The city sits along a busy corridor that draws traffic from both local residents and travelers passing through northeast Arkansas.

The former Starbucks building gives the restaurant an existing footprint on a well traveled stretch of West Kingshighway, which could speed up the conversion process. Drive thru service is expected to be part of the layout, though a timeline for opening has not been released.
