UAFS Moves Forward with Respiratory Therapy Degree Plans

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith announced on Tuesday, Sept. 22, that it is making progress on plans to offer an associate of applied science degree in respiratory therapy.

The proposed program would prepare students for careers in a field that has seen growing demand, particularly since the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the critical role respiratory therapists play in patient care.
