What began as a trip to a French pastry school turned into a life-changing move for Dawn Belisle, who ultimately moved to Nice, France. After years of working in a corporate environment in Atlanta, Belisle decided to pursue her passion for baking. She enrolled in a prestigious pastry school in France, where she immersed herself in the art of creating exquisite desserts.
The experience was transformative, allowing her to hone her skills and discover the rich culinary traditions of French pastry-making. As she spent more time in the vibrant culture of the South of France, Belisle fell in love with the lifestyle, the people, and, of course, the food. The picturesque streets of Nice, with their charming cafés and stunning coastal views, became her new home.
Now, she has fully embraced her new life, finding joy in creating pastries that reflect her journey. Belisle expresses no desire to return to the United States, as she has found her true calling and a sense of belonging in France.
