Trucordia acquires Connecticut insurer Paradiso Financial

Trucordia acquires Connecticut insurer Paradiso Financial

Trucordia has completed the acquisition of Paradiso Financial, a Connecticut-based insurance agency. The deal brings a community-focused firm with a diversified mix of personal lines and small commercial business under the Trucordia umbrella.

Paradiso Financial, which has served clients across the state for years, is known for its hands-on approach to insurance. The agency writes coverage for auto, home, and life insurance alongside policies for local businesses. Trucordia said the acquisition strengthens its presence in the Northeast and adds a team that understands the local market well.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is part of Trucordia's broader strategy to grow through partnerships with regional agencies that have strong customer relationships. The company has been active in buying independent agencies across the country, focusing on firms that fit its model of keeping local leadership in place.

Paradiso Financial's staff will continue to operate from its existing offices. Trucordia said clients should not see any immediate changes to their policies or service. The integration process is expected to be smooth, with the Paradiso team joining Trucordia's network of agencies.

Industry observers note that the deal reflects a continued trend of consolidation in the insurance brokerage space, where larger firms are scooping up smaller, well-run agencies to expand their geographic reach and product offerings.
